Crowbar’s builds custom hydraulic hose assemblies while you wait at our Marion, Iowa store.
We stock Balflex hydraulic hose along with a wide range of hydraulic fittings for farm equipment, construction equipment, trucks, trailers, industrial machinery, shop equipment, and other hydraulic applications.
Hydraulic Hose We Stock
We currently stock:
- 2-wire hydraulic hose: 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, 5/8, 3/4, and 1 inch
- 4-wire hydraulic hose: 5/8, 3/4, 1, and 1-1/4 inch
- 6-wire hydraulic hose: 1-1/4 inch, with a limited fitting selection currently available

Why We Use R16 Hydraulic Hose
For many common hydraulic applications, we use SAE 100R16 hose.
R16 is a compact, flexible 2-wire hydraulic hose with a tighter bend radius than traditional R1 and R2 hose. That can make it easier to route in tight spaces while still providing the pressure capability needed for many equipment and machinery applications.
We can help match the hose type to the application when replacing an existing assembly.
Bring the Old Hose
For the fastest and most accurate replacement, bring the complete old hose assembly with you.
Hydraulic fittings can look nearly identical while using different threads, sealing surfaces, angles, and fitting styles. Having the original hose lets us verify the ends, orientation, length, and hose requirements before building the replacement.
Photos and measurements can be helpful, but they may not provide enough information to guarantee the correct assembly.
